Driver takes short-cut through field

A woman reportedly told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office her husband took her vehicle and was “driving crazy.” The man reportedly was speeding and cutting people off, then drove in a person’s yard. The man then reportedly headed north “through a field” toward Montana 35. It was unknown if he was intoxicated.

A woman on Kings Way in Kalispell was eating lunch when she noticed a drone supposedly “watching her” for about five minutes. She mentioned she was going to speak to law enforcement regarding paperwork about a temporary restraining order, but after speaking with her attorney was reportedly advised to contact the sheriff’s office.

A woman on Main Street in Kalispell attempted to pick up a purse that belonged to someone else at the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, but was told it couldn’t be released without the owner contacting officers and giving permission for her to pick it up.

Someone reported a camper had all its windows broken. The person said it was surrounded by garbage and looked as if it had been there all winter. A dog was also seen running around vehicles.

A driver who was supposedly texting “almost hit several people,” according to someone on Montana 40 in Whitefish.

Someone on Coclet Lane in Kalispell claimed an employer was an ex-felon and “has a lot of guns,” and he’s not allowed to have guns. Officers may have been cautioned that the man may carry a small handgun in a holster, was supposedly unstable and “does not like contact from law enforcement.”

Someone on Kokanee Bend Drive in Columbia Falls probably wondered why someone would own a dog when they voiced concerns about a barking canine that was allegedly left in a kennel all day with no visible water and that the owner sometimes didn’t come home for a 24-hour period. Deputies posted a notice at the residence for the owner to call them.

A teen was reportedly found in possession of alcohol on Wolfpack Way in Kalispell and was seen running toward the Flathead 911 Emergency Communications Center by his aunt, who was trying to catch him.

A woman on Edgewood Drive in Whitefish let deputies know if there were any abused horses that needed to be re-homed she reportedly had property and room in a large horse barn.

A thief quite possibly had urgent lawn-care issues when someone on Fourth Street in Columbia Falls reported a mower, garden hose and pressure washer stolen.

An employee on Montana 35 told officers a vehicle at a gas pump for about an hour contained suspicious items such as bolt cutters.

A bus driver on Birch Grove Road in Kalispell reported a woman talking on her cell phone who was supposedly in such a hurry that she tried to pass on a double yellow line.

A Bear Trail resident in Whitefish told deputies he found a silver gun case in an empty lot and it might be related to “all the vehicle thefts happening in Happy Valley.”

Someone on Shady Lane in Kalispell said their husband allegedly threatened to kill them.

A La Brant Road resident in Kalispell alleged a neighbor was shooting handguns toward a hill and “all around the houses,” and thought it was against an ordinance.
