Shoplifter commits crime against fashion

A Central Avenue shop clerk said two middle-aged men swiped her iPhone from the checkout counter while they were in the store, according to Whitefish Police Department logs. One of the men was wearing aviator shades, and the other was sporting a frumpy seafoam green cardigan. It’s unknown if the fashion police responded to the scene as well.

A barefoot bandit was causing a ruckus at an apartment complex on Colorado Avenue. He was last scene without shoes on running south on Iowa Avenue.

A mountain bike left unlocked on Central Avenue was reported stolen.

A juvenile boy was allegedly caught in possession of alcohol, according to Kalispell Police Department logs. He took off running through a field before he was arrested and later released to his guardians.

A group of seven people set up camp in a parking lot where they weren’t welcome. Police told them to pack it up and move along.

A teenager was left licking his wounds after he was allegedly assaulted by three coworkers. The boy’s knee and shoulder were injured, but he refused medical attention. The scrap started when the boy’s friend stole a lighter.

Shoplifters made off with two pairs of Nike shoes. The men were last seen driving off in a black dually pickup.

An extremely intoxicated woman was hiding under a poker table at a local casino. She was later found with a bloody nose, lying on the grass outside of the business.

A caller reported harassment when an unknown woman with two dogs yelled at her to get out of town and to go back to where she came from.
