Glacier falls to Senior in AA state softball opener

BUTTE — The No. 1 Western Division seed Glacier Wolfpack was upset by No. 4 Billings Senior 6-0 in the first round of the Class AA state softball tournament on Thursday in a rematch of last year’s first round matchup.

Glacier had trouble at the plate, recording just one hit through seven innings.

Addie Labrum was credited with the lone hit.

Senior scored runs in the third, sixth and seventh innings and didn’t have any trouble getting its bats moving. Its six runs were scored on 10 hits.

Glacier (16-4) takes on No. 2 Billings Skyview today at 11 a.m. in loser out play.

The loss snapped the Wolfpack’s 11-game winning streak.
