Tambra Jean Peterson, 59

| May 26, 2019 4:00 AM

Tambra Jean Peterson, 59, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at her home in Kalispell from heart disease.

Tambra was born on June 3, 1959, in Reedley, California, to Carl and Natalie (Fillmore) Peterson.

Tambra worked as a phlebotomist for the Red Cross for over 10 years. During her time with the Red Cross she touched many lives and members of the community.

She loved to read and watch the Turner Classic Movies Channel — everything from Disney to old classic movies to the new ones. She enjoyed trips to Disneyland, low-key holiday dinner with friends, and spontaneous road trips to Canada.

Tambra invested most of herself to her son Matthew. Almost everything she did, she did for him. She loved to laugh and enjoyed casual get togethers with family and friends. Her father was her rock and hero throughout all of her life. She had a kind and very giving heart that was full of love and laughter.

Tambra is survived by her son, Matthew Peterson, of Kalispell.

A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 4p.m. on June 1 at the Lagoon Pavilion at Woodland Park. She will be greatly miss by all who knew her.
