Woman makes noise about noise complaint

A woman allegedly made even more noise when she was reported as “still worked up” about a noise complaint a neighbor made against her on Airport Road. Kalispell Police Department counseled her on keeping the noise down when someone told police she was yelling, crying and fighting with a man.

A man was not the brightest crayon in the box when he reportedly stole a woman’s credit card off a store counter and used it to pay for his purchases, which included a prescription, but then left without the items. The employee called the man to come pick up the items. The woman called police when he was seen back in the store.

A woman waiting in a parking lot for a cab was scared when she thought she heard a “roaring cat” and supposedly saw something “bigger than a dog” on a hill at Kidsports.

A woman told dispatchers her boyfriend had “lost his mind.” The man supposedly was intoxicated and was being “disorderly by himself” in a garage.

A man was allegedly kicked in the eye by his girlfriend who broke his TV and “threw clothes everywhere.” He may have been asleep when the incident occurred and reportedly told officers that he “just wants the drama to stop.”

Officers responded to a call from a girl who locked herself in the bathroom with her sisters after her brother allegedly threatened to stab her with a knife. She told officers her father didn’t know she was calling and that her brother put the knife away and was upstairs in his room. Police counseled all parties involved in the incident.

A pregnant teenager was allegedly punched in the stomach by her mother according to her boyfriend.

A parent reported their daughter’s phone was reportedly taken by a friend who sold it.

Someone saw two hypodermic needles lying in the area of First Avenue East.

A west side resident had questions about spraying pesticides within city limits.

A resident called in their neighbors for talking loudly. Police spoke with the neighbors who claimed they would keep the conversations down.

A man was concerned that a reckless driver with passengers was intoxicated after they reportedly threw beer cans at him and hung out the window flipping him off.

A woman wearing a hoodie allegedly grabbed a $60 item behind a store counter and ran off toward North Meridian Road.

A man reported a shotgun stolen from his truck and said the back window lock looked like it was broken.

A woman was upset that she was kicked out of her hotel room. Employees said she was caught smoking in her room and when she was kicked out she reportedly started screaming at the front desk employee and throwing things.

A resident was concerned that thieves who broke into his son’s vehicle and allegedly stole paperwork now had his address and would break into his house while he was away.

Dispatchers received a call from someone who sounded like a child reporting teenagers chasing them and trying to steal their bike on Ninth Street West.

A store employee told officers that a customer called claiming they left a pistol in a dressing room and had returned to pick it up. While the employee believed it belonged to the customer they told officers it was the store’s policy to turn firearms over to police and let them take care of it from there.

Someone said a man hid behind dumpsters at a Hutton Ranch Road business when they noticed him looking into parked vehicles. Police made contact with the man and seized a marijuana pipe.

An employee said a man wearing a hooded jacket with long greasy hair was seen looking in vehicles and got inside one and was using a flashlight on Hutton Ranch Road before leaving in a “very loud” car.
