Larry Tipton Stidmon, 79

Larry Tipton Stidmon passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, in Kalispell.

Larry was born Oct. 5, 1940, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Claude and Hilda Faye Stidmon. He moved with the family to Kalispell at the age of 13, graduated from Flathead County High School and earned his journalism degree from the University of Montana.

Larry worked as an newspaper editor, advertising salesman, logger, and eventually retired as a custodian from Flathead Valley Community College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling with his many friends around the valley. He was a loving man who most enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Larry is survived by his aunt and uncle Curt and Harriet Snyder, brother Marvin Stidmon, brother and sister-in-law Rick and Linda Stidmon, son and daughter-in-law Cody and Andrea Stidmon, granddaughters Madeline and Annabelle Stidmon, and many cousins and friends.

Private family services are being held.
