Creepy elevator man is alleged bully
Kalispell Police Department received a report from someone saying a man who was “kind of creepy” allegedly followed them into an elevator the previous day. The reporting party “was not injured or anything,” but supposedly felt the man “is a bully.”
Someone requested the police check on a woman’s welfare who was seen standing on the corner outside of a South Main Street business purportedly waving her arms, yelling and growling at herself.
A bearded man wearing red pants raised the suspicions of someone who reportedly said he was trying to get into the house.
A drunk man allegedly kept running in front of a snow-plow driver and then stood in front of it. The man claimed he was trying to sleep when the snow plow woke him up.
Numerous motor vehicle accidents were reported, including a four-car pile-up on a corner, a vehicle that hit a guard rail and several rear-ended vehicles, likely due to the weather.
A crank reportedly went in to the police department lobby to complain about a private snow-plowing company that started working in a church parking lot at 4 a.m. and said that “there is no reason for them to start that early.”
Extra patrol was requested in a location where four-wheelers were supposedly “running” in and out of a park, “tearing it up” during the evening hours.
Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a man where a school bus was reportedly stopped in the northbound lane and a sedan driving southbound on U.S. 2 in Kalispell allegedly didn’t stop and continued driving. The man reportedly said he had the incident recorded on his dash camera.
A man on Spring Creek Drive in Kalispell reportedly went to see who was pulling into his driveway when “words were exchanged over a woman” and the driver “purposely” backed up into the caller, allegedly hitting them with the vehicle side mirror.
Someone reported a chain saw and a rifle stolen after their shop was reportedly broken into on Trumbull Canyon Road in Columbia Falls.
A van was allegedly broken into on Cooperative Way in Kalispell.
A mother said a man wearing a headlamp and reflective gear purportedly “jumped out” in front of her daughter while she was driving home on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.
A 2008 maroon Honda Ridgeline was reported stolen on Martin Creek Lane.
A man on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls told deputies that someone allegedly broke into his shop and poured some type of oil or fluids into a BMW that left a big puddle underneath it.
A woman calling from U.S. 93 in Kalispell asked for cops right away and hung up. On a callback it was reported that a clerk was allegedly assaulted during a shoplifting incident and the woman left in a white sedan with Idaho license plates.
The doors to a 30-foot trailer being pulled by a white truck were reportedly swinging open on Montana 82 in Bigfork.
A woman reported several guns supposedly valued at $7,000 were stolen on Slow Down Lane in Bigfork.
A man reportedly saw people steal a chain saw out of his truck on Montana 35 and then got into a red SUV and turned on Shady Lane. He claimed the chain saw was valued at $1,400.
A 2011 Dodge Ram registered was reported stolen on Ashley Lake Road in Kila. The truck was described as having silver lettering on the passenger back door and a business name and phone number on the tailgate. It reportedly contained three guns.
A 2002 white Land Rover was reported missing on Tangent Road in Coram.
