Gift Festival

The annual International Gift Festival is this weekend at Mountain View Mennonite Church in Kalispell.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The festival features fair trade goods, international flavors for lunch in the Village Cafe, and children’s activities from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Crown of the Continent Choir performs at 7 p.m. today.

Holiday bazaar

Immanuel Lutheran Communities’ annual holiday bazaar is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Immanuel Skilled Care Center, 185 Crestline Ave., Kalispell.

The bazaar features homemade Scandinavian lefse and hot cinnamon rolls and coffee, gift items and more. All proceeds are used to enrich the lives of residents at Immanuel Lutheran Communities.

Ornament sales

Members of the Kalispell Lions Club will be selling a Limited Edition Christmas ornament featuring a painting of the Old Flathead County Courthouse by local artist Eileen Alexander this weekend at Rosauers, while supplies last. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Saturday and Nov. 22.

The price is $10 per ornament. Funds raised are used to support charitable activities in the valley.

Art on Screen

The Great Art on Screen documentary “The Prado Museum: A Collection of Wonders” will be broadcast at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. today, Nov. 15.

Great Art on Screen documentaries run approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are $15 for adults; $5 for students (K-12); and $10 for college students, cash or check, at the door.

Bowl for Kids

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flathead County’s annual fundraiser, Bowl for Kids’ Sake, is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pick’s Bowling Center in Bigfork. The theme is “Back to the ‘80s.”

Teams are made up on one captain and three to five additional players. Each time bowls for one hour and all bowlers are entered into costume and fundraising contests. A variety of time slots are available.

Pizza, cookies, soda and water are provided to all players.

The goal is to raise $50,000. Go to bbbsfc.org/bfks2019 to register.

GrooveTail fundraiser

GrooveTrail, Inc.’s annual Gift of Thanks fundraiser is from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish, featuring the talents of Ed Boggs, Ross Bridgeman, Brent Jameson, Jeremy Reinbolt, Nick Spear, Kathy Sullivan, Dave von Kleist and Erica von Kleist.

GrooveTrail nonprofit organization’s mission is to raise funds to hire local musicians to perform in the skilled nursing facilities, memory care and assisted living homes.

Tickets are $20 for general admission or $25 for reserved cabaret seating, available online at groovetrail.ticketleap.com or at the door.

Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase.

Rock ‘n’ roll show

Celebrate the ’60s and ’70s with a vintage rock ‘n’ roll show and dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Kalispell Eagles ballroom, 37 First St. E.

Enjoy music from the Beatles, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, the Animals, Peter, Paul and Mary, Herman’s Hermits and many more. Cowboy Country and the Gold Dust Girls perform with special guest Joe Procita; ‘60s and ‘70s attire is encouraged.
