Click-clacking a cause for concern

An older woman called the Whitefish Police Department because she heard “clicking and clacking” in her house. She was particularly concerned because “it is the holiday season and there are predators out there.” She clarified she was “not paranoid,…just old.”

A woman called the police, told them she had “cuss word coffee,” and then hung up. The police added extra patrols in the area.

A business in Whitefish told the police they paid $2,000 for furnishings during the summer that they still had not received.

A man made off with a six-pack of beer from a store without paying for it.

Someone heard “a lot of screaming and yelling” and found damage to the driver’s side window of a vehicle in a driveway.

A man was reportedly calling a woman repeatedly. Then she told law enforcement “he was on [her] deck,” but she didn’t know where he went after that.

Approximately $700 worth of hockey gear was stolen from a truck. The police did extra patrol in the area.

The topper came off a pickup truck and was then removed from the road.

Someone attempted to cash stolen checks and then reportedly escaped from the Columbia Falls Police Department’s custody.

Two vehicles were seen “doing brodies” in a parking lot, and then a fight ensued when someone confronted the reckless drivers.

Multiple people reported a vehicle with a tail light out to the police.

Two men allegedly told another man to get into their truck, then drove away without him.
