- Signs Now Kalispell has been recognized as one of the country’s top-performing printers by SurveyAdvantage’s Print Buyer Satisfaction Index. Results are based on feedback from customers at more than 650 independently owned printers across the U.S., the U.K. and Canada.

Signs Now offers professional graphic solutions, such as environmental graphics, mobile graphics, way-finding solutions and promotional displays, to regional businesses and organizations.
- Morrison-Maierle’s expansion project at Flathead High School has received the Montana Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ 2020 Montana Engineering Excellence Award in the Building/Technology category. Morrison-Maierle worked with LPW Architecture to build a new gym and expanded classrooms, despite restrictions like a tight schedule and the 1926-era footprint, according to a press release. Morrison-Maierle was the prime consultant for the project and provided the structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design, which reportedly saved the Kalispell School District $900,000.
- West Glacier KOA Resort Campground has earned the 2020 KOA President’s Award and KOA Founder’s Award. West Glacier KOA was presented with these prestigious awards at KOA’s Annual International Convention on Nov. 11 in Savannah, Georgia. The Founder’s Award is KOA’s highest service award, given to campground owners and managers who earn “world-class scores in both customer service and the KOA Quality Review.” The President’s Award is given to campgrounds with exceptional quality standards and high customer service scores from guests.
- GLACIER MEDICAL ASSOCIATES has added three new physicians to the independent practice, and they are all accepting new patients.
Dr. Karen Vesely has joined the practice in family medicine. She did her undergraduate studies at Lewis and Clark College and then completed a post-baccalaureate premedical program at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency in Missoula.
Also joining Glacier Medical Associates in family medicine is Dr. Hikmat Maaliki, who studied at the University of California, Riverside, for his undergraduate degree and New York Medical College for his medical degree. He completed his residency at the University of Washington and worked at an outpatient clinic in New Zealand. He brings 20 years of experience to the practice.
Dr. Jeremy Jennings is also joining Glacier Medical Associates in pediatrics and internal medicine. The Utah native earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and his medical degree from the University of North Texas in Fort Worth. He completed his dual internal medicine and pediatric residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he trained at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Truman Medical Center, and Saint Luke’s Hospital. He was selected as chief resident and was inducted in the Gold Humanism Honor Society during his training.
