Man seen on roof without fiddle
Someone asked the Kalispell Police Department to check on a man on the roof of a porch. The caller said he thought it was “weird” and wondered what he was doing up there.
Someone called the police because a patron hit a pole at a fast food drive-thru. When the police investigated, they reportedly could not find the driver and they “were not seeing any poles in the drive-[thru].”
Someone felt uncomfortable because a man was sleeping in public, “wearing all white” with his face covered by a black jacket. The sleeping man was counseled.
Someone accidentally called 911 because his phone was “messed up.”
A woman thought her car was stolen from a casino, but then she realized a friend had borrowed the car and returned it to her.
A concerned citizen asked the police to check on a car sitting with its lights off in a parking lot. It turned out the driver was waiting to pick her husband up from work.
A man was drinking alcohol inside a store and an employee thought he hadn’t paid for the drink. The man later said he did pay for the drink, so the employee decided not to try to charge him with theft.
A driver reportedly stopped in the parking lot of a newspaper office “and didn’t put the vehicle in park.” Then he “got back in and took off.” A police officer who was in the area at the time of the alleged “reckless driving” said he didn’t see any vehicles that matched the car’s description.
A woman was heard screaming and swearing near a museum. The man who reported her behavior didn’t “feel comfortable getting out of his vehicle.” A police officer met with her and said she was later “sitting at a table” and doing fine.
Someone sent threatening messages on social media and then left a review on the victim’s business page.
A woman reported a cat on top of a telephone pole. She said she tried to coax it down with cat food at the bottom of the pole but it hadn’t moved.
