| November 20, 2019 4:00 AM

Donald Frank McAdam, 70, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2019, with his loving wife at his side at his home south of Kalispell. Don had a long battle with cancer which eventually took his life.

Don was born on Sept. 27, 1949, to Frank and Marjorie McAdam in Kansas City, Missouri. His childhood and early part of his life was spent in the Kansas City area.

In 1994, Don and his wife Sandy moved to the Flathead. Don was employed as a bookkeeper for Northwest Montana Association of Realtors and later Settle Contracting, eventually becoming a shuttle driver in Glacier National Park. Don often said, “My work in the park is one of the best jobs in the Valley. They paid me to drive through the park and talk to people.” He also enjoyed acting and directing with several valley theater groups.

After arriving in the valley, Don and Sandy built a home south of Kalispell, which to this day is their pride and joy.

Don was preceded in death by his dad Frank and his mom Marjorie.

He is survived by his wife Sandy with whom he spent 33 wonderful years. He is also survived by his sister, Martha DePasco of Kansas City.
