Drug bust nets four Kalispell men

Four Kalispell men were arrested Tuesday on drug and other charges following several complaints from residents on the west side of the city.

According to information from the Kalispell Police Department, officers from its department, the Northwest Montana Drug Task Force and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence at 115 Fourth Ave. W. in Kalispell. Law enforcement officials had received several complaints regarding drug activity at the home.

During the execution of the search warrant, several individuals were contacted and arrested.

They included Joshua Bryant, 24, and Ryan Jurjans, 31, who were arrested for outstanding warrants.

Also, 21 year-old Tobias East and 23-year-old Kyle Sloan were both arrested for felony possession of dangerous drugs. Additional charges are pending at the conclusion of the investigation.

According to online jail records, Bryant and East are incarcerated at the Flathead County Jail.

For Bryant and East, it’s not their first time being involved with Flathead law officers.

Bryant’s first contact with county law officials was in December 2016 when three teen-aged girls under 18 and one adult woman accused of him of showing his genitals and masturbating in front of them at three separate locations, including near Flathead High School, the Linderman Education Center and a bus stop. The charges were later dropped.

Then, on Dec. 4, 2018, Bryant was arrested for meth possession after a traffic stop. He pleaded guilty in April 2019 and received a three-year deferred sentence on Oct. 17, 2019.

East was arrested July 10, 2018, at an area grocery store on the suspicion of shoplifting. When officers searched him, they found meth in his possession. According to court documents, on July 18, 2019, he pleaded guilty and on Aug. 5, he received a three-year deferred sentence. But county probation and parole officers said East didn’t show up for his initial appointment and he was arrested Oct. 6. After being released from jail three days later, East failed to show again for a probation meeting. Then, on Nov. 1, officers couldn’t verify an address East had allegedly given them as his residence.
