Flathead girls take third at Butte Invite XC
BUTTE — A trio of top 15 finishes helped Flathead girls bring home third place team honors at the Butte Invitational at the Highland View Golf Course on Saturday.
Flathead’s Madelaine Jellison was 10th with a time of 19:22.3. Neila Lingholm’s time of 19:48.4 placed her 13th and Tori Noland-Gillespie clocked in at 19:52.3 in 15th place.
Also in the top 30 from Flathead were Kyra Wood and Sierra Vickrey.
Glacier’s Sam Ells was 13th in the boys race.
Bozeman swept the boys and girls team standings.
Owen Smith of Billings Senior won the boys race and Kylie Hartnett of Helena won the girls race.
The Glacier girls placed 10th as a team.
Flathead and Glacier’s next Class AA outing is the Helena 7-on-7 meet on Thursday at 12 p.m.
