Credit card abuse not about spending

Kalispell Police Department responded to a report from a woman who yelled at a man who allegedly entered her home using a credit card to open the lock. She told officers that she had filed a temporary restraining order against the man. Officers had a lengthy discussion with the man who “now knows not to go to the residence.”

Someone wanted police to check on — and move along — an elderly lady clad in a cheetah print dress and holding suitcases, who reportedly walked across a street and back again to a store where she had been for more than a few hours. She moved on.

A woman offered a reward for a stolen phone and a man was holding her phone hostage, purportedly wanting more money for its return. She told law enforcement she was setting up an exchange and wanted officers to be there. Somehow, the woman got her phone back and the incident ceased to be a theft. It wasn’t clear if anyone got a reward.

A man was allegedly threatening to drag a woman out of a car and then the woman got into a wheelchair. The couple were supposedly OK and the man was reported as being “just crude and talks loudly.”

Someone calling from Wisconsin had questions for police regarding reported harassment from someone in the area.

“Three guys on bikes” were supposedly seen peeking into vehicle windows in a parking lot on U.S. 2. Officers spoke with a building employee who reportedly said the trio were not doing anything criminal, just taking pictures and videos.

A man in an apartment above a woman was allegedly throwing things and yelling that he was “going to get his guns and shoot everyone.”
