Wolfpack spikers sweep crosstown

The Glacier Wolfpack beat the Flathead Bravettes in four sets in Western AA crosstown volleyball at Flathead High School on Tuesday.

Glacier also beat Flathead on Sept. 26.

Scores this time were 25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 27-25.

Emma Anderson had 14 kills for Glacier and Aubrie Rademacher had 12.

Kaylee Fritz had 39 assists and served eight aces.

Glacier improves to 6-4 in conference play and 7-9 overall and is fourth in Western AA.

Flathead is 3-7 and 7-9.

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Wildkats improved to 10-1 overall with a three set sweep of Whitefish.

Columbia Falls is 8-0 in conference play.

Whitefish is 6-5 and 3-4.

“Both teams fought hard,” Columbia Falls coach Jolandie Brooks said. “The Wildkats found ways to be resilient and get the job done.”

Scores were 25-15, 25-22, 27-25.

Hannah Schweikert had 32 assists and served three aces for Columbia Falls. Mady Hoerner had two service aces and 14 kills.

Stillwater Christian pulled off a three-set sweep of the Bigfork Valkyries in a nonconference game.

“Tonight was our senior night and the girls were fired up to play,” Stillwater coach Katie Guthrie said. “Our seniors, Abby Hudson, Sydney McKerrow, Selah Neumann, and Kayla Oyler were stat leaders all around.”

Scores were 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.

Stillwater is 16-6 overall, and 10-0 conference.

Bigfork falls to 2-10.
