Man strikes out in Lakeside bar fight

An extremely intoxicated man who got into a bar fight on U.S. 93 in Lakeside was allegedly hit in the head with a baseball bat and was bleeding. Medics requested a deputy ride in the ambulance due to the man’s “violent nature” as he was supposedly screaming profanities at the medics and law enforcement. He was advised to call when he sobered up if he wished to pursue filing a report.

Someone on Evergreen Drive told deputies someone allegedly shot their windshield with a paint ball gun, cracking it.

Someone at a gas station on Reserve Drive spotted a possibly stolen and spray painted motorcycle. A plate was seized and a man released.

A woman wearing a windbreaker and jeans was allegedly hitting a tall man dressed in a business suit in Kalispell.

Dispatchers followed up with an abandoned 911 call on Evergreen Drive and it was reported that a teen allegedly received a text from another teen who wanted to shoot her in an attempt to start a fight. Deputies made contact with both parties, who alleged they both were being threatened. They were advised to refrain from contacting each other and explained the processes of obtaining a temporary restraining order or going through civil court.

A teen was seen texting while driving on U.S. 93 in Whitefish.

Someone on 14th Street in Kalispell told deputies that two boys came to their house asking for money. The boys, who were said to be about 6 or 7, allegedly said they were from Utah, were homeless and living in the woods. An SUV then pulled up and they got into the vehicle and left.

A man told officers he was “on the road” and claimed he was getting “disturbing” emails from his wife, who he thought was intoxicated. The man alleged she was threatening to torture his dog if he didn’t call her in addition to calling his employer and making false claims and he wanted officers to go to his Kila residence and make sure his wife “let the dogs in.” Officers advised him they would call his wife with concerns. A message was left and it was deemed nothing criminal occurred at this point.

It was made clear to a man that he wasn’t welcome at a Baker Avenue store in Whitefish when he reportedly had to be escorted out after being hostile to employees and yelling.
