Man has a hunch if quarters are missing

An employee on Nucleus Avenue wanted to let Columbia Falls Police Department know about a man who was a “known thief,” just in case law enforcement had a “case of missing quarters.” The man allegedly came in “with a bunch of quarters” to use in a coin machine, yet it wasn’t clear from the report where the “thief” label came in.

Police responded to a road rage incident where a truck was reportedly chasing a man down and yelling at him. Officers spoke with both parties, but no one wanted to pursue anything.

A woman allegedly thought a person was living inside an older camp trailer in a parking lot on Fourth Avenue because “she saw a person being picked up from the trailer.” Police spoke with an individual who was going to move it by the end of the day.

A man allegedly got into the wrong truck by accident on Central Avenue and thought he might have left his wallet in it and wanted to know if anyone turned it in to Whitefish Police Department.

An employee calling from U.S. 93 thought a man needed assistance after he collided with another bicyclist on U.S. 93 and was lying down on a sidewalk. The employee claimed he tried to limp away, but reportedly couldn’t get very far and thought he needed to be checked out even though he didn’t want help.

People reportedly attempted to break into a vehicle on Ice House Terrace and there was camera footage of the individuals fleeing on foot.
