Bravettes best Big Sky spikers; Glacier, Bigfork fall in three matches
MISSOULA — The Flathead Bravettes knocked off Missoula Big Sky in four games on Tuesday night in a Western AA match.
Flathead improves to 2-1. Scores were 25-20, 20-25, 25-19, 25-19.
Senior Julia Burden served four of 12 team aces, had two blocks and made 17 kills for Flathead. Mayson Moore had 29 of Flathead’s 31 assists.
Flathead hosts Missoula Sentinel at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Sentinel 3, Glacier 0
MISSOULA — Glacier fell to Missoula Sentinel in three games Western AA play 25-20, 25-21, 25-13.
Sentinel dominated the score sheet and led Glacier in every category but the Wolfpack fought hard to stay in the match.
Kaylee Fritz served two aces as did Kynzie Mohl. Fritz had all 10 of Glacier’s assists and Mohl had five blocks. Aubrie Rademacher knocked down five kills.
Glacier’s next game is Thursday at home against Missoula Big Sky at 7 p.m.

MISSOULA — Missoula Loyola defeated Bigfork in Western B play, 25-14, 25-9, 25-18.
Loyola led the Valkyries in every statistical category.
Sam Clevenger had 13 of the Breakers’ 31 kills and three of eight team service aces.
Of 10 total team kills, Jessy Frey had five for Bigfork. Aubrey Halversen had all of the team’s eight assists.
Bigfork hosts Florence at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
