Fire and Flood Emergency Services will hold its first U.S. demonstration of new mobile water management technology in Polson on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Alberta, Canada-based company specializing in “hazard reduction” solutions recently launched in the U.S. The company invites the public to witness a free demonstration of its “revolutionary new system” in Polson.

“Their delivery system of moving mass amounts of water will assist public and private agencies in reducing the hazardous effects of wildland-urban interface fires and alleviate the issues with inadequate infrastructure for drainage during emergency flooding,” a press release said.

Fire and Flood’s U.S. operations director and former Finley Point Fire Department Lt. Bryce Muench will lead the demonstration. Muench has 20 years of experience in emergency services and is taking on the new endeavor of spreading Fire and Flood’s reach in the U.S.

The event will take place at mile marker 9, Montana 35 in Polson. Guest check-in begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by a lunch from noon to 1 p.m. There will be various events leading up to the demonstration at 1:45 p.m.
