Man threatens to drive ex's pickup off cliff

A woman’s ex on U.S. 2 in Kalispell purportedly was threatening to take her truck and “drive it off a cliff,” claiming it was his, and she wanted Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to tell him he couldn’t drive it. Both bickered while on the phone with dispatchers and she refused to separate from the man. Deputies spoke with both parties, advising them of the legal action that can be taken if he took the vehicle without permission.

A woman calling from Kila, who reportedly wanted assistance from retrieving belongings and medication. She also told officers she was kidnapped from California, “but they won’t arrest her husband.”

Officers reportedly pursued and arrested a man on a bicycle in Kalispell.

A Middle Road property owner in Columbia Falls alleged a relative was living in a tent and trying to move into a cabin or barn on the property and they wanted him to leave. He reportedly had threatened to shoot other relatives and animals/livestock on the property in addition to threatening neighbors. Officers made contact with yet another relative of the property owner who claimed he was part owner and said the man could stay at his house.

A church office on Somers Road reportedly was ransacked.

Someone on Parklane Drive in Evergreen purportedly thought a fence built by a property owner was “creating major visibility obstruction” for Evergreen Drive and Parklane Drive.

An SUV with all its windows blown out and no motor was dumped at Ferndale Drive in Bigfork. A tow truck was called.

A man lost his cool on U.S. 2 in Hungry Horse when he allegedly believed a cashier took a key fob to a rental car that he thought he set down. He was asked to leave by the manager. Officers reportedly reviewed video footage and did not see the man with a key fob or a theft take place. The man then purportedly thought he left it somewhere else and apologized to the employees for his actions toward them.

A woman on Montana 35 in Kalispell was reportedly threatened by a man who had been told he was not allowed on the property in the past and when confronted became upset and said he was going to get a gun and shoot her, then left on a bicycle. She was told not to confront him if she saw him again. A property manager told officers she would advise tenants not to approach him. The property manager was advised to seek a retraining order based on his past behavior.

Extra patrol was requested by someone on Sunnyside Drive in Kalispell who alleged there were people hanging out under a bridge doing drugs and was worried after finding needles in the area near the creek and wanted an officer to check it out.

A noisy man on Whalebone Drive reportedly keeps other residents awake at night when he supposedly screams and yells at a woman, beats her up and other times, comes home singing loudly.

Someone heard a woman say “go ahead and hit me with an ax” and the voice seemed to be coming from Hellman Lane in Columbia Falls.
