C-Falls spikers rally to beat Stevi
COLUMBIA FALLS — Despite dropping the first set, the Wildkats rallied to win the next three in a nonconference Class A matchup against Stevensville.
Columbia Falls won in sets of 19-25, 25-14, 25-12 and 25-21.
The Kats’ Hannah Schweikert made her presence felt all over the court, leading her team in aces (5) and assists (32), as well as adding 7 digs. Madysen Hoerner racked up 17 kills and 7 digs for the Wildkats as well.
Head coach Jolandie Brooks said it was difficult for her team to get in a rhythm early on without her starting Libero, Angellica Street.
“Once we adjusted we were able to get in a rhythm and manage the game better. Our team stepped up when needed and got the job done,” Brooks said.
