Flathead girls, C-Falls boys 2nd at invite

Columbia Falls Wildcat runners Aidan Jarvis and Lara Erickson placed third and fourth at the Flathead Invitational at Rebecca Farm on Saturday.
Jarvis clocked in at 16:47.29 and Erickson’s time was 20:01.41.
Sam Ells of Glacier was seventh and Wildcat Joe Lamb was eighth.
Other top 25 finishers were Columbia Falls’ James Role and Seth Umbriaco and Glacier’s Jeff Lillard and Thena Strand.
Madelane Jellison, Neila Lyngholm and Tori Noland-Gillespie of Flathead all ran to top 10 finishes.
Whitefish’s Josephine Vardell was ninth and Jessica Henson was 16th.
Kinzie Peterson was Glacier’s top finisher at 18th place.
Columbia Falls boys were second in the team standings with 66 points.
Glacier’s 103 placed third.
In the girls team standings, Flathead was second with 46 points and Glacier at 68 was third.
Columbia Falls placed fifth.
