Jim Walter, 87

Jim Walter passed away on Sept. 6 at home. He is survived by his wife Josephine (Bruyer) after 66 years of marriage; children Catherine (Larry Pearson), Barbara (Keith Schultz), James Jr., John, Chris (Jennifer) and Glenn (Jennifer); six grandchildren: Michael, Jeff, Tom, Susanna, Daniel and Eirwyn and three great-grandchildren.

Jim was born to Rosa and Glenn in Kalispell, where he spent his entire life. He worked in the gas business for over 40 years. He started at H. Earl Clack and then ran the Husky Bulk Plant. Later he drove a tanker truck and had a school bus.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Sykes.
