Lois Ann (Thacker) Johnson, 89

On Aug. 25, 2019, Lois Ann (Thacker) Johnson passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side.

Lois was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on April 1, 1930, and was raised in Cory, Pennsylvania, and Columbia Falls. She lived a good life to include being married to her high school sweetheart “Ott” for 72 years. She and Ott loved to travel and drove through all 48 contiguous states and throughout Canada. They especially loved to travel to locations where their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren lived. Lois was most notably known for her career as a motel manager in Kalispell.

She is survived by her husband, Alton “Ott” Johnson; her children, Dennis Johnson, Randy Johnson and Deb Johnson; a sister, Marsha Wilkerson; and brothers, Troy Thacker and Glenn Thacker. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Christine Timmerman and Jael Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Marley, Josh, Hannah, Alec and Kyle.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
