Bruce Donald Bardwell, 57

| September 20, 2019 4:00 AM

Bruce Donald Bardwell, 57, passed way in his home on Sept. 14, 2019, after a yearlong battle with multiple myeloma (cancer of the spine).

Bruce was born Feb. 2, 1962, in Kalispell to Donald and Norma (Florence Mohn) Bardwell. Bruce

later in 1978 moved to Lakeside, Oregon, with his family. Bruce later returned to Kalispell and lived with

his aunts Caroline to finish high school and graduate with his class in June 1981.

Bruce worked in various businesses in Kalispell, including Hennessey’s Steak House/Outlaw Inn for 13 years, and several years at the Gold Nugget.

Bruce loved working in his yard and the flower beds. He always had such a beautiful yard. As much as he enjoyed his flowers, it was second only to his love for his dogs he had over the years.

During his illness, cousin Laura and her husband David, and friends Jennifer “Jen” and her husband Matt extended special care and compassion to Bruce. The family is indebted to them.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, sister Francis, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

Bruce is survived by his son Jeff Lathrom and wife Dana, their daughters, twins Brenwyn, Eowyn, and

Evelyn “Evie” of Palmer, Alaska, two older brothers David, Allen and wife Cindy, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services are planned for 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at Glacier Memorial Gardens and are open to all friends and family.
