Chance Michael Holmstrom, 17

| September 25, 2019 4:00 AM

Chance Michael Holmstrom, our son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, a beautiful soul! has been called home to heaven by a faithful God whom we can trust and knows when our time has come. He passed away on Sept. 2, 2019, after a motorcycle accident.

Chance was born Sept. 30, 2001, in Kalispell.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Steven Riggins, grandmother Elaine Holmstrom, great-grandparents Ray and Elaine Kusch, uncle Albert Deiter, and great-grandparents Pud and Ruth Mace, as well as other great uncles and aunts.

Chance is survived by his amazing 4-month-old son Graycen Xaide Holmstrom, sister Heather Holmstrom, parents Mike and Melissa, grandmother Kim, great-grandparents Wayne and Marilyn Riggins, and many countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chance knew and touched so many people during his short time here on earth. He was feisty, fearless, adventurous, crazy, loving, caring, as well as stubborn, hard headed and handsome! When he loved someone, it was with the uttermost parts of his soul! He loved bonfires, fishing, art, mechanics, off-roading, dirt bikes, camping, and so much more! He was so excited to be a new dad!

“We love you, Chance Michael, and are very thankful for you! See you soon, buddy! Momma and dad are very proud and blessed to have been your parents! And Heather will do her best to carry on the legacy you left behind!”

Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Hope Church, 436 Birch Grove Road. Please wear something red in honor of our boy’s favorite color.

In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to our “Baby Graycen” college fund, which will be set up at Park Side Credit Union.

Forever in our hearts, never forgotten!

“Just livin’ my life, day by day” — Chance Holmstrom
