Glacier's Hill fourth at Mountain West Classic
MISSOULA — Glacier’s Simon Hill ran to a fourth-place finish at the Mountain West Classic cross-country meet at the University of Montana Golf Course on Saturday.
Hill was the highest-placing runner from the Flathead Valley, clocking in at 16:03.58.
Aidan Jarvis of Columbia Falls was 38th.
Flathead’s Madelaine Jellison was the highest girls placer from the Valley at 32nd.
Lewis and Clark’s Wil Smith won the boys race and Kylie Harnett of Helena won the girls race.
Bozeman swept the boys and girls team titles.
The Flathead girls were seventh, Whitefish 15th and Columbia Falls 18th.
Glacier boys finished eighth, Columbia Falls 11th and Eureka 17th.
