No. 26913 INVITATION TO BID FLATHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISTRICT CFC BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Notice is hereby given that the Flathead County Solid Waste District will receive bids for the construction of the CFC Building Construction Project. Work primarily consists of erecting a prefabricated engineered steel building, concrete foundations and slab, gravel site surface, and other miscellaneous utility items. The proposed project is located in Flathead County, MT, approximately 4.8 miles north of the City of Kalispell, MT. All sealed bids plainly marked "Flathead County Solid Waste District: CFC Building Construction Project" must be delivered to the Flathead County Solid Waste District, 4098 Highway 93 North, Kalispell, Montana 59901, at or before 2:00 p.m., local time Monday, April 20, 2020. All Bids that have been duly received will be opened and read aloud immediately thereafter at the Flathead County Solid Waste District Office. A performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder, to secure the contractor's covenant to faithfully perform all of the conditions of the contract in accordance with the law and that contract. The successful bidder must contract to pay prevailing wage rates, set by the Montana Department of Labor, and will be subject to withholding of 1% of all payments for transmittal to the Department of Revenue to pay the public contract tax. No bid shall be considered that does not carry the bidder's Montana Contractor's Registration Number on the bid form. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Flathead County Solid Waste District Office commencing at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2020. Completion of the work is required within 103 calendar days after commencement on approximately May 18, 2020 and according to the construction schedule to be determined after the Notice to Proceed is issued. No. 26912 PUBLIC OPPORTUNITY TO PROTEST ISSUANCE OF ONE NEW MONTANA ALL-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE SUNFLOWER CAFE (Felicia Lartey, Sole Proprietor, Owner(s)) has applied for one new Montana All-Alcoholic Beverages License No. 07-999-2390-001 to be operated at SUNFLOWER CAFE, 12070 US-2, West Glacier, Flathead County. The public may protest this license in accordance with the law. Who can protest this transfer? Protests will be accepted from residents of the county of the proposed location Flathead County, residents of adjoining Montana counties, and residents of adjoining counties in another state if the criteria in 16-4-207(4)(d), Montana Code Annotated (MCA), are met. What information must be included? Protest letters must be legible and contain (1) the protestor's full name, mailing address, and street address; (2) the license number 07-999-2390-001 and the applicant's name SUNFLOWER CAFE; (3) an indication that the letter is intended as a protest; (4) a description of the grounds for protesting; and (5) the protestor's signature. A letter with multiple signatures will be considered one protest letter. What are valid protest grounds? What happens if the license is protested? Depending on the number of protests and the protest grounds, a public hearing will be held in Helena or West Glacier. All valid protestors will be notified of the hearing's time, date and location. Hearings typically are scheduled within 90 days. A protester's hearing testimony is limited to the grounds in the protester's letter. Following the hearing, the Department of Revenue will notify the public whether the license is approved or denied.
