Dawn Kimberly Hampton Werner, 52
Our dearest Dawn passed away too soon on March 1, 2020, at the young age of 52. Dawn was surrounded by her loving family at The HealthCenter Northwest.
Dawn was preceded in death by Lauretta Werner of Columbia Falls; Donald and Lois Olson; and Dick Hampton of Kalispell. Dawn’s cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
Dawn was born on April 26, 1967, to Bruce and Becky Duncan and was later adopted by Dick Hampton. Dawn was raised in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High School with the class of 1985.
Dawn enjoyed being a wife and a mother. Dawn’s passion was cooking and entertaining friends and family. Dawn loved to decorate her home, yard and garden. She strongly loved watching her daughter grow up and attending all of her sports events from elementary through high school and one year of college basketball. She also embraced the great outdoors and enjoyed camping and boating with family and friends.
Dawn met John Werner and they married on Sept. 26, 1992, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Columbia Falls. The following year their beautiful daughter Jonna Jean Werner was born. A renewal of wedding vows was taken on their 10th anniversary.
