| April 29, 2020 1:00 AM

A small, unmanned boat drifted into Echo Lake Bay. A nearby homeowner and his wife said he saw it float in from the end of the peninsula but he did “not recognize it as a boat they have seen before.” The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office determined, “At this point it is unknown where the boat drifted from or where it came from.”

A caller was concerned about their blood pressure. They weren’t experiencing any specific issues and simply had a concern about high blood pressure. A dispatcher explained the Sheriff’s Office couldn’t give them medical assistance so they decided to pursue other options.

A homeowner was worried about a white car driving through the neighborhood repeatedly with a spotlight. The driver turned out to be a man out looking for his dog.

A man realized a gun was stolen out of the back of his truck “sometime in the last couple weeks.”

A woman also realized a gun was stolen from her house. She had not noticed that the AR-15 went missing since she last saw it in 2017 and she suspected her ex-husband’s son of stealing it.

A woman requested a welfare check on her daughter’s father after she found him passed out next to a half-empty bottle of whiskey and medication. Officers made contact with the father.

A 10-year-old girl was caught vandalizing school property and her mother asked officers to talk to her daughter about the consequences of her actions and “hanging out with the right people.”

A man was upset when he found his vehicle two weeks after it had been towed and he had accrued a large tow bill. He was informed there was nothing the Sheriff’s Office could do at the time to lower his bill and he should “be more cautious as to whom he loans his motor vehicle to in the future.”

A California man who owns property in the Flathead Valley requested a woman be removed from his property after she started “squatting” there.

A woman saw a “suspicious” truck park near her wooded property for four nights in a row. Officers walked through the property and found four bags of alcohol stashed on the property, which were confiscated.

A man in the Sheriff’s Office lobby said he “wants to talk to a deputy about something going on at his house” and he maintained he was “not going to leave until he talk[ed] to a deputy.”

Someone else arrived to discuss a dispute between a homeowner and a property owner. The property owner was reportedly harassing the home owner’s caretaker.

A woman claimed a man she had fired continues to trespass on her property and try to steal her truck. However, she admitted she is, “going senile” and her brother reported, if she doesn’t take her medication she hallucinates.”
