WHITEFISH – Cameron Kahle, the defending State A boys medalist who’s entering his senior year at Whitefish High School, won the Whitefish Lake Golf Club championship that concluded Sunday.

Kahle fired a second-round 74 for a two-day total of 146, one stroke ahead of both Ryan Sager and Dan Conkling. Billy Smith (5-over 149) and Brad Grattan (150) rounded out the top five in the men’s open competition.

The men’s senior champion is Carroll Lilly, who had a two-day total of 145 to win by eight strokes. In second was Rod Brady.

The super-senior (age 70 and over) champ is Jeff Raymond, who came in at 151, four strokes ahead of Dave Streeter.

Karen Jacobsen is both the women’s club champion and senior’s champion after firing a 78 and 83. Her total of 161 was four shots better than Kathy Dodd, who was second in the seniors competition as well.
