Daughter’s trip a ‘silent’ protest

The mother of a “silent” protester called the Columbia Falls Police Department because her daughter was headed to Oregon. She was concerned because the daughter was talking about everyone being against her and acting oddly.

Officers caught up with some bridge jumpers and advised them to stop.

Officers were on the lookout for a young teen who was riding his 4-wheeler and doing burnouts.

An unattended child was safely returned to the parents.

A customer had a $1,000 pair of sunglasses stolen from the pool area. The person didn’t know who did it but had video footage and believes the thief was a guest at the lodge.

A property owner called about a neighbor who has a pro-Hitler or Hitler-type sign in their front yard. The caller didn’t think it should be allowed.
