Missing baby found safe; AMBER alert canceled

Lucas Warner, a 6-month-old baby who was abducted from Columbia Falls Saturday, has been was located Tuesday morning by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and is safe, authorities said.

The AMBER Alert for Lucas Warner has been canceled. The Flathead County Sheriff's office thanked everyone for their assistance. This is a developing story and more information will be forthcoming.

The Montana Department of Justice said the baby was taken by his non-custodial father Andrew Warner and a babysitter, Hayli Emerson. The DOJ also had said Andrew Warner reportedly is bipolar and was off his medication.

An AMBER Alert is a rapid notification system to alert the public and solicit their assistance when a child is abducted and is facing grave danger.
