Anthony Bruno Thomas, 86

Anthony “Tony” B. Thomas, 86, died Aug. 24, 2020.

Tony was born Nov.14, 1933, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Anthony B. Thomas and Antonette P. Ostaszewski.

He was the youngest, having one older brother and two older sisters.

Tony worked and retired from Burlington Northern where he did a variety of jobs including electronics.

On New Year’s Eve 1976 he met his future wife Diane. They were married a few months later on July 5, 1977. They enjoyed fishing and gardening and spending time together. Tony would spend hours listening to music and visiting with Diane while she was sewing beautiful quilts.

Tony and Diane loved to travel. They would be visiting or watching TV and see an exotic location and say “Let’s go there." They took many cruises and vacations all over the world.

Hawaii was a favorite vacation spot, breaking up the cold Montana winters. Tony always said he was happy that they were able to travel and spend lots of time together when they had good health and were able to do so.

Diane preceded him in death on July 1, 2019.
