Gun goes missing during tree-cutting trip

A man who bought a pistol with duct tape on it at a pawn shop told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office the gun went missing when he went to cut down a Christmas tree.

Someone kept track of a doe lying in a ditch for approximately six hours. The caller wasn’t sure if the deer was injured, but it turned out it was just sleeping. After its nap, the doe got up and ran away.

An 86-year-old man with multiple health conditions passed out in his home. His wife called for medical assistance, but by the time they arrived, the man had woken up. He could be overheard arguing with his wife and trying to get up on his own.

An impatient driver in an older Pontiac sedan ran three red lights on U.S. 93.

A mysterious caller with a history of six previous 911 hang-ups called and then disconnected yet again.

The driver of a black Toyota Tacoma allegedly tried to run another truck driver off the road on U.S. 93. The Tacoma driver reportedly pulled up next to the caller and started yelling. The caller said the aggressive driver “wanted to fight.”

An older female driver in a white Subaru apparently wasn’t able to stay in her lane and nearly ran into a dump truck.

A woman who reportedly lives “700 miles away” called for help getting a hold of her 2-year-old daughter.

A “very hostile” woman called about her stolen trailer. The woman apparently had contacted law enforcement previously about the theft, but records indicated “the calls usually end with [her] screaming at law enforcement or dispatch and disconnecting.” This time, she reportedly was “not listening and becoming increasingly more hostile.” Then she disconnected after “ranting about people not being equipped to do their jobs.”
