Alleged drug deal reported in parking lot

Someone called the Kalispell Police Department and reported an alleged drug deal in the back parking lot. One of the vehicles was a gray Mitsubishi hatchback and the other was a red GMC Jimmy with a shattered windshield.

An officer helped an employee get a very drunk man into his room.

A mistaken 911 call occurred when bags of food from the drive-thru landed on her phone and it went into SOS mode.

Someone reported a black Lab tied to a bike rack and thought it was too cold for the animal to be outside. When an officer checked the location a few minutes later, the canine had moved along.

A woman reported a Russian man confronted her because she locked her vehicle when he was walking nearby. She said she always locks her doors.

A store manager wanted a regular shoplifter armed with a knife moved along. The man was carrying the knife in a holster and wore camo pants with a yellow mask.

A caller reported finding a women’s mountain bike leaning against a bench. She said it’s a location where stolen bikes often appear. An officer checked the serial number of the bike and it wasn’t reported stolen. The bike was left where it was found.

When a woman was done with work she started her vehicle to warm it up. When she returned to it, someone had taken it. The car was later spotted by an officer but before an arrest could be made, the vehicle pulled over and all four occupants bailed and ran. But soon after, two suspects were arrested and taken to the jail.

The manager of a business experienced some good fortune when a cleaner discovered the front doors were unlocked. The cleaner soon found the hidden key and locked the doors.

Someone approached a drive-thru window claiming people were out to get her, she was cold and her kids were going to be taken from her. When an officer spoke to the woman she denied having any medical problems, didn't need to go to the hospital and said she was headed to her room.

A store employee found syringes, one used and one full, in the bathroom. The needles were collected for destruction.

A man said a plow-truck driver threatened him after he confronted the person about throwing sand on to his truck when he passed by his vehicle. The caller said the plow-truck driver approached him in his vehicle and told him to get out “and we’ll go right now.”

Someone reported several fraudulent charges on her Amazon card totaling more than $1,100.

A man wanted to know if there was any new information about his missing service dog. When an officer called back, he attempted to leave a message but the man’s voice mail was full.
