Man misjudges other man's ability
The Kalispell Police Department got a call because a man was harassing another man for using a handicapped placard. The first man was upset because he saw the other man walk into a restaurant and he didn’t believe the “validity” of the second man’s handicap, until the person with the handicapped placard revealed his prosthetic leg.
A woman believed her vehicle was moved while she was shopping at a grocery store. She said she was sure the vehicle was locked, but she was also certain the vehicle had been moved. However, nothing was stolen or damaged.
Someone was told to stop burning brush in an alleyway.
A neighbor apparently “verbally attacked” a dog owner about her dog “pooping in their yard.” The neighbors separated and the dog owner said she just wanted a phone call from law enforcement about the incident.
A man pushed a woman’s daughter and reportedly “busted a window out.”
A man was seen lying on the side of a road but he said he was “just resting” and he would be on his way.
A driver complained because another vehicle kept “trying to race” the motorist and she couldn’t “get rid of them.” The speeding driver was counseled on her driving.
Someone pulled up in front of a house and hit two vehicles.
A woman called the police because she said she had been told to call if she ever “heard banging,” but it turned out everything was normal.
A mother picking up her child from school requested extra patrol because she said she had seen “multiple vehicles speeding and running the red light.”
Two separate callers accidentally dialed 911 because their phones were in their car cup holders.
A bullet ricocheted and hit a man in the cheek when he was firing a gun. A person with him called the police to see if this was “something he needs to report to authorities.”
A man was asked to leave a parking lot and he proceeded to scream and walk around before heading on his way.
Someone was suspicious of three subjects in an alleyway with flashlights.
A caller wanted law enforcement to be aware that a man was kicking machines and then he saw subjects apparently “just walking around in circles” outside a fast-food restaurant.
