Autonomous vehicle spooks driver

A man whose keys and bag were reportedly stolen told Kalispell Police Department that someone had since been able to talk to him through his car radio and seemed to be able to take over the vehicle controls.

Police responded to a call about a man allegedly walking into a business and started swearing, cussing and getting into a man’s face.

Someone reported seeing a little girl with a pink backpack who was holding a brown sign. The person reportedly thought she looked “too young to be out there.”

A woman came home to find her house had allegedly been broken into when she found the door unlocked and a rose from when her son died, scattered all over the floor.

A man reportedly parked by a back door, and out of a camera’s view, had “been there for awhile,” which concerned two employees who requested the man be moved along and that police escort them to their vehicles.

Windows on a truck were allegedly found smashed and the tires deflated.

Two vehicles were reportedly found with slashed tires.

Someone thought they saw smoke from a fire coming from a building, but it turned out to be steam.

A man allegedly stole shoes and put them in his brown coat then walked to the bus stop.

A woman reportedly told police that someone smashed out the window of her vehicle, stole her purse and was using a credit card “right now.” Police reportedly received additional information that her credit cards were already maxed out.

A woman reportedly believed someone gained access to her house through a broken kitchen window and stole her laptop. She had a suspect in mind.
