Whitefish boys hoops edge Stevi in OT
WHITEFISH — The Whitefish Bulldogs edged the Stevensville Yellowjackets 45-43 in overtime on Friday in a nonconference Class A basketball game at Whitefish High School.
Bodie Smith led Whitefish with 14 points. Tallon Holmquist added 13 for the Bulldogs, who led 19-18 at the half.
For Stevi, Kellan Beller scored 14.
Whitefish has two more Northwest A games to close out the regular season and a play-in game Feb. 24 before divisional play Feb. 28-29.

EUREKA — AJ Pacella and Cory Chaney each scored 15 points as the Eureka Lions downed the Troy Trojans in Western 7B play on Friday, their 10th win of the season.
Jake Kindel added 11 for the Lions. Alex Lowe and Austin Sartori each scored six points.
For Troy, Braiden Lowry scored 13.
Eureka has an away game at Arlee today and then will host Thompson Falls on Thursday to open the Western 7B playoffs.
