Ominous footprints a cause for concern

Someone on Montana 40 near Columbia Falls allegedly saw barefoot human footprints and the message “send help” in snow. Flathead County Sheriff’s Office also observed bare footprints in the snow that appeared isolated to a cul-de-sac area of cabins, but couldn’t determine the end location of them.

Someone on Willow Glen Drive allegedly wanted to talk to a deputy about a “very mean and nasty” woman who calls almost every week, up to several times a week, using profanity and “severe” cuss words.

A Kalispell resident claimed a neighbor locked his older dog in a horse corral that provided no shelter and it was “trying hard” to find its way out. Officers left a message for a man to call them directly. Apparently, there were ongoing issues occurring between neighbors and the dogs were “the least of the issues.”

A passerby on Whitefish Stage Road in Kalispell reportedly saw a vehicle run over a windshield lying in the road, shattering it.

Boulders were allegedly placed by restrooms where someone supposedly saw “signs” of a truck jumping the boulders and driving around because the tracks weren’t there yesterday.

A couple of trucks, two snowmobiles and half a dozen people were purportedly starting a fire in a small county park across from a resident’s home on Belton Stage in West Glacier and didn’t think the snowmobiles or fire were legal. The people left.

Someone in Kalispell reportedly believed they were approached by sex traffickers over Snapchat, a multimedia messaging app.

An Oregon Street resident in Kalispell was allegedly getting headaches from diesel fumes emitted by a truck.

A combative man calling from Central Avenue in Martin City couldn’t find his flatbed truck and wanted to know if it was towed or stolen, but wasn’t giving a location other than a bar. He was advised it was towed.
