Neumann MVP for Stillwater

HELENA — Selah Neuman scored 14 points to help Stillwater Christian past Great Falls Home School 37-34 in the semifinals of the MCAA tournament Friday at Carroll College.

The Lady Crusaders advanced to Saturday’s championship against Flathead Valley Home School, and Stillwater won though the score was unavailable at press time.

Flathead Valley beat Gallatin Valley 45-37 in the other girls’ semifinal Friday, behind 13 points from Codi Kenney.

The Stillwater Christian boys were third at the MCAA tournament, though results were not available.

Connor Drish was first-team all-MCAA and Josh Venman made the second team for the Crusaders.

For the Lady Crusaders Neumann was named tournament MVP and first-team all-MCAA. Teammates Madison Morken and Sophia Sulzbacher also were first-team; Abby Hudson was second-team.
