Joseph 'Ricky' Burkey, 78 Marlene Janice Grenz-Burkey, 79

Joseph “Ricky” Burkey (Aug. 22, 1941- Jan. 17, 2020) and Marlene Janice Grenz-Burkey (Aug. 3, 1938- May 8, 2018) have gone to the place He has prepared for them. Longtime residents of Whitefish, Marlene and Ricky shared a love for the community for many years. They left no money or worldly inheritance, instead they passed along something of greater value: faith, hope and love in Jesus.

Our family will be forever grateful for the race they ran and gladly pick up the baton and continue on; “so above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run” (1 Corinthians 13:12 TPT).

Our family would like to express deep gratitude to all of the wonderful caregivers, guardians and community members who so lovingly cared for Ricky and Marlene during their many years in Whitefish.
