Katherine 'Kitty' Perzentka, 80

Katherine Genevieve (Foley) Perzentka, 80, passed away Dec. 27, 2019, in Kalispell.

Kitty was born July 30, 1939, in Wautoma, Wisconsin, to Dr. Clifford and Leone (Tetzlaff) Foley. She grew up in Wautoma, and graduated from Wautoma High School in 1957.

She married Walter W. Perzentka on Nov. 5, 1960. They enjoyed traveling throughout the United States for General Telephone of Illinois. They both loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and chose to settle in Kalispell in 1970. Kitty was a homemaker, and helped her husband run Walt’s Photo-graphy Studio. She also worked for the Evergreen School System, and LaSalle Lighting before retiring.

Kitty was a beloved member of the community for nearly 50 years and enjoyed sharing her time volunteering with many organizations. Her graciousness, infectious smile, and energetic spirit touched everyone she encountered.

She is survived by her brother Robert Foley of Wautoma, and her four children, son David, of Spokane; daughter Lisa and husband Kris, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and their children Foley and Jordan; daughter Jill and husband Jerry Wilson of Spokane, and their son Jacob; and daughter Julie of Arlington, Washington, and her daughter Adaline.

There will be a celebration of life at the Moose Lodge in Evergreen, on Monday, Jan. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, the Moose Lodge in Evergreen, or St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Kalispell.
