White alpaca goes missing

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was informed that a white male alpaca went missing from its owner in Columbia Falls.

A contractor was reportedly pulling a truck with Styrofoam flying out of the back. Officers were unable to locate and pursue the vehicle.

A BMW driver was apparently texting and nearly ran another driver off the road. The negligent driver stopped at a traffic light and was then “driving okay.”

A man said he thought his stepdaughter and her “tweaked out” boyfriend broke into his garage because the lock had been cut.

Someone with an older cell phone was frustrated because she had hit an emergency button that called law enforcement three times by accident.

A woman complained about damage to a well, but it turned out there was a dispute over the execution of a recent will, so the caller said she would hire a lawyer.

Someone on a social media site reportedly asked two underage girls for “naughty pictures.”

A homeowner who was out of state said the person looking after his property saw someone drive across his lawn. There appeared to be snowmobile tracks.

Two people who had apparently tried to use a fake $100 bill the week before returned to a business and tried to use another fake bill. The person who reported them said they looked “strung out.”

A man suspected two other men were going to try to steal his truck or items out of his truck.

Someone saw a “smaller sedan” in an unknown color in his area and he wanted to pass this information on to law enforcement “due to the high traffic in his neighborhood.” He said he “saw in the paper that someone from Washington had been arrested for something.”

Someone tried to help an older woman who apparently “seem[ed] intoxicated and fell on her face.” She said she didn’t want help and yelled at the person who reported her.

A man was seen “walking back and forth” and seeming “very nervous.” He apparently asked someone “what are you looking at?” and “got confrontational” with the person who was watching him.

A nervous daughter thought her elderly mother had passed out when the mother stopped responding on the phone, but it turned out everything was fine.
