Missing eyebrow gives away runaway
A boy with a blood disorder and a shaved left eyebrow was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office as a runaway, but then he returned to his school.
A woman staying with another woman got into an argument with her host and left with her gun.
An officer met a driver on the side of a road who had pulled over to respond to a text message.
A Missouri man called the Sheriff’s Office because he had learned through social media his wife was allegedly being held against her will. She had apparently been removed from multiple Kalispell businesses and he had no idea where in the county she might be, so he told the dispatcher he would call back if he came up with “more actionable intelligence.”
A homeowner called law enforcement because he “has had problems with a male that keeps parking on the corner.” He said this repeat offender was making it hard to see around the turn. It turned out the driver was parked in a driveway and an officer who investigated said he “was able to turn without issue” and this “is not a hazard.”
A large boulder was reported on Foothill Road. The officer who checked out the boulder said “it [was] large enough that I could not move it,” so he requested the County Road Department remove it.
A woman said she felt she was being stalked by her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend. She suspected the woman had created a fake social media account to harass her, but she blocked the account. She also said this woman drives past her house regularly so the officer suggested she apply for a temporary restraining order.
Someone complained about dogs barking continually, but it turned out they lived in a livestock facility.
Someone else complained about another barking dog, but an officer was unsuccessful in multiple attempts to contact the dog owner. He said, “I am not sure what the complaint is exactly about.”
A plow truck driver called dispatch because there were too many cars parked on the side of the road and the driver couldn’t get through.
A home caregiver was suspected of stealing $10,000 worth of coins.
A driver called to complain about broken-down cars blocking a roadway. The caller apparently “kept repeating ‘you can’t turn around.’”
Someone suspected her mail had been stolen for several weeks in a row.
