Kalispell Police Department allegedly counseled a man on using a restroom rather than a parking lot.

A woman allegedly got into an argument with her intoxicated boyfriend and he pushed her to the ground, took the car keys, took the dog and drove away. She called police mainly concerned that he was out driving. He reportedly returned and was having a friend pick him up.

The street department was notified about an icy intersection.

Police reportedly advised a man that he could not have signs on city property unattended, what fines he could get if he continued and was provided with a copy of the city ordinance.

Someone was concerned about a person who appeared to have been out in the cold all day. He reportedly said he didn’t need assistance and was waiting for a ride to the warming center when it opened.

A man called police alleging his girlfriend verbally assaulted him and locked him out of the house while she sat on the porch refusing to give him his keys. He claimed that she earlier had him locked in the basement for two hours. Both had reportedly been drinking and he was on probation. Parties were separated.

A concerned parent wanted advice from police after reportedly finding out via their teenage son’s cellphone and Facebook that he’s been smoking marijuana.
