Neighbor unfazed by 'beware of dog' sign
A woman complained to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about her neighbor’s “vicious dogs.” She apparently ignored the neighbor’s “beware of dog” sign, went onto the neighbor’s property and a dog bit her.
Someone thought she heard gunshots and saw footprints around the outside of a vehicle.
Some horses apparently got loose and impeded traffic, but then they headed back to their ranch.
A “dark brown chihuahua-terrier” was collected on U.S. Highway 2.
A man’s truck, tools and other items went missing and he suspected his “soon-to-be ex-wife’s daughter” stole them. He said, “law enforcement has refused to do anything about it so far.”
A Florida man called the FCSO because he was victimized by a scam when he paid $1,100 to a Kalispell woman for an exercise bike that never arrived. He confessed he was scared to call law enforcement because his son works for local law enforcement and he didn’t want his son to be upset he fell for a scam.
A man said his neighbors were “causing issues” and tore down the fence he had installed. However, he was told to take down a cable he had attached to his neighbor’s post and he was informed his neighbors don’t need a written easement to enter his driveway. This information apparently made him “argumentative and upset.”
A driver told the Kalispell Police Department she drove past a “small child walking towards the school.” She was concerned for his safety although she said he “did not appear to be in distress.” An officer followed some footprints that apparently “terminate[d] at a basement window that a child would be small enough to crawl through,” but the officer made contact with the occupants there and everything appeared to be fine.
Someone was suspicious of a suitcase spotted alongside a road.
