What about us?

I recently read in the Daily Inter Lake a long, heart-warming story about a horse named Henry that was saved from certain death through the heroic efforts of numerous public servants, local business persons and other volunteers. Needless to say this type of community action shows how much we care about our four-footed friends.

But what about us? In the time that it took to save Henry another unborn child was killed simply because of a parents choice. How ironic it is that we will devote so much time, money and effort to save a horse, and yet will kill a child in the womb without a second thought.

Hooray for Henry the 20-year-old horse.

And boohoo for the unnamed, unwanted and unloved child, a child created in God’s own image, that will never take its first breath.

Country’s survival

The only thing standing between our country’s ruination and collapse is President Donald Trump and his administration. Look what’s happened in what once were beautiful and fine large cities governed by left ideological leaders and policies. The whole country will be like San Francisco, Portland or Seattle.

If you want to get rid of ICE, handcuff the police, leave our borders wide open to let the whole world to come in with no laws or semblance of order — I don’t think anyone will like the results.

It will be the opposite of a great America, that’s for sure — a chaotic lawless mess and no safe place to live.

Instead of “Make America Great Again,” make America broken and done. How’s that?

Fox rises to the top

We are fortunate to have so many competent people running for governor. One of them, however, stands way above the rest for me. Tim Fox, a lifelong Montana, grew up in Harden. He’s been a hard-working attorney general for eight years,

He hasn’t solved our meth problem, but has a good handle on it. With his thorough knowledge of Montana statutes and his degree in geology he’s been a valuable asset to the land board, and will continue to be as governor. I urge your support.
