Unusual bank visitor raises eyebrows
Kalispell Police Department received a welfare check request from a bank employee who said there was a suspicious man who came in and had them notarize a strange document about people watching him. The employee also reportedly said he was wandering around the bank a couple of days ago and asked how many $100 bills there were in the vault.
A woman who reportedly tried to get into store employees’ vehicles last weekend had returned and was putting hand sanitizer all over herself — including her face.
Three men and a woman were allegedly sitting on church steps getting high and one of the men threw his lighter at a passerby.
A customer reportedly dined and dashed to get out of a $26.27 bill.
An unlocked semi was reportedly broken into and a phone was stolen.
A man “on the heavier side” was allegedly looking into other vehicles and then got into a blue SUV where a passenger was sitting ,when he noticed someone watching him.
A man was reportedly captured on camera walking into someone’s driveway and yard a couple of times.
Six or seven horses were running free on Smith Lake Road.
Someone reportedly told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office two white trucks were tailgating people on U.S. 93 in Kalispell and although it was “too foggy to really get a good look at the vehicles,” it was alleged their driving was reckless for the weather and road conditions.
Two teens allegedly stole a 30-pack and two 18-packs of beer on U.S. 2 in Kalispell.
Someone calling from Jensen Road in Columbia Falls reported a large amount of “fraud orders” for possibly two businesses. The caller reportedly said in one day alone there was $4,000 worth of sales that were fraudulent charges.
A woman on U.S. 93 in Whitefish told officers she was at a man’s trailer trying to get her dog, which he was supposedly watching for her, but he refused, and instead, put his hands around her neck and threatened to shoot her. Parties were separated. Officers reportedly issued the man a citation for simple assault.
A pregnant woman’s brother reportedly shoved her and pushed her to the ground on Steel Bridge Road in Kalispell.
